Ice allowed Jarrn to lead her into this strange new room. "Wow....Well...I guess theres going to be some physical tests..." She said with a light smile. Ice actually kinda hoped it would be a running or endurance test. Simple games to test her reflexes and thought abilities were fun too....Icewing was odd...She actually liked to be tested..."So whats first Boss...?" She asked with a playful smile.

Jarrn placed her in a chair sitting in the middle of the room. Meticulously, he began moving around the room and picking things out that would be necessary for the first test. Her mind would be the first to be tested, then her strength, endurance, flexibility, and lastly, her sight. All of those qualities would be necessary for her real tests afterward, giving her experience to use them as she willed. Jarrn moved back over to Ice, placing wires around her head randomly with small, circular discs that made them stay in place. Of course, even as cruel as he was, they weren't the type to inflict pain when taken off, even if placed in a person's hair.
He then moved away from her, heading toward the counter where the wires lead to an automated system that fed her questions and puzzles to work out. Most were about different animals, asking about little details and tidbits that talked about the creature, then it moved on to more difficult questions that contained their habitat and where they originated. Of course, some would call these more difficult, yet some were smart enough to know. Hopefully she set a good example at answering them.

Ice shifted somewhat nervously in the chair, she didn't really like the first few seconds of being put on the spot. She soon relaxed as the questions and puzzels filtered through her thoughts. She was a swift thinker when she knew the answer and was damn near a master at the puzzels and mind mazes. With questions she didn't know she'd go through a long thought process that only a human genius would until she got an answer she felt was right. That detailed thought process was used most on the origin of the species. The one question about evolution she answered with the ease and skill of a scientist. The last maze she found to be hard but....She found that to be more fun. She eventually made it through the long maze winding through her mind. All throughout the tests the girl's facial expressions changed alot. Her eyes narrowed some when she was thinking and glimmered with joy when she got the answer correct. On the few trick questions her indigo gaze held a sly glimmer and she chuckled at one of the questions about the main predator of extinct horses....It was the Elephant Bird of course.... When she wasn't getting any more questions she looked to Jarrn with a slight smile. Her mind was crystal clear and held a soft melody of thought. She was thinking of a nameless melody that she hummed alot.

Jarrn nodded throughout the process of the test. They were good answers, very good in fact. She didn't rush through due to nervousness or lack of care, but she showed the quality of patience and cunning. He nodded once more before moving back over to her, removing the wires from her head and placing them back on the counter. The score would be recorded, along with the next four. Jarrn then pushed a different button on the small machine, making the room contort slightly and change into what seemed like a weight room. It consisted of a few different machines, each designed to test one thing at a time. One, mostly known to test 'benching,' another that was to test legs alone, and two other machines to test one arm/leg at a time.
Next was her strength test. This time he placed the wires along her arms and legs, some on her abs and others on her back. These would keep a record on how her body faired with the weights she would be lifting. "This should be pretty simple. Especially these ones." He moved over to the machine that tested a single arm. "On these two, don't rush. Go slowly, yet not too slow, or else you could end up damaging muscles," he said, indicating the single machines. Jarrn, knowing she had already caught on with her brilliant mind, stepped back over to the small automated machine sitting on the counter. "You can begin whenever."

Ice looked at the machines with a devilish grin. Those indigo orbs of hers were locked on where she'd be benching. She looked over the other machines and snickered. "alrighty..." She clapped her hands together and rubbed them some. The vanner girl went to the leg test and pssed that with fling colors. She next went to the arm/leg test then finally she was at the bench part. "Do I have to bench this thing....can I just dead lift it....?" She asked. Rolling her eyes she kicked the weight to the ground and added an extra fourty pounds to bring it to an even 250lbs in weight. She looked down at the bar and wights with glee. Once again she clapped her hands together and rubbed them lightly. Ice took up position and dead lifted the wight notonce but, three times. After that she put the weight back in place and back to the orginal format it was in. "Whats next?" She asked wiping the sweat from her forehead with the back of her hand. She was enjoying this!

Jarrn grinned, though there was no humor, or any type of emotion for that matter. He moved over to her, yet again taking the wires off of her body and placing them on the counter. This time, he pushed a smaller button right under the previous one and a shimmer appeared near the corner of the room, stilling to reveal a tredmill. Yet this one was way different. It didn't have the option of walking, jogging, or sprinting, but it carefully divided the time up. He picked up two wires, glancing at Ice, then thought it over carefully. Jarrn handed one to her while he put the second one on her back, just over her heart, then motioned toward the one she was holding on to. "Put that one over your heart, then follow me..." he said, already moving toward the machine. Once there, he pressed a few buttons in a sequential order, then turned toward Ice. "This machine bases the speed slowly, dividing the time on purpose. At first, it will start out as a walk, but then it will speed up to a jog, then a sprint. After about seven to ten minutes into it, maybe a little more, it will start to change speeds faster, either slowing it down or speeding it up. This will test your endurance and reflexes," he explained before letting her step on.

Ice listened to his words and did as she was told. The girl walked over to the tredmill and hopped on with a smirk. The lazy walk annoyed her at first and ashe sighed boredly. However after a few minutes it shifted to a swift jog. This was more like it!! Icewing seemingly pranced as she jogged along. Then the belt sped up even more and she was at a light run. From then on it shifted swiftly from a run to a walk causing her to skip once or twice to keep herself steady. Soon however, this speed up slow down activity turned into a fun dance like game to her. She laughed skipping and prancing about. Jumpping into the runs and the walks. She was very light on her feet.

Jarrn had already moved back to the machine, checking her work and progress. So far, she seemed to be doing good in everything. Eventually, he noticed the tredmill declining in speed a little quickly, hinting that the test was pretty much over. He then motioned Ice off of the machine, pressing a button when she had done so. The whole room shimmered, contorted, until it took shape as a small comfortable room with an airy atmosphere. The ground was covered in a soft carpet, yet there was a small contraption against the wall, a small plastic flip that was movable in the open line going through the middle on top. There was also what seemed like a measure tape taped against the wall about seven feet from the contraption, where flexibility and relfexes would be tested. Other than that, the test would consist more of stretching, seeing how far her body would allow her muscles to stretch. "I'm sure you're familiar with everything here. Start with anything you like. Also don't forget the stretches," he said, staying at the small machine.

Ice looked about and snickered. With a skip, run, and a hop she passed the jump test. Next a few nerf dart arrows were shot at her testing her reaction time but, somehow she managed to turn it into a flexability test. She did back bends, flips, summer sults, ducks, jumps, twists, turns, and just about everything else on could think of. Being from a small gypsy clan of course she was extreamly flexable and light on her feet. The reflex/flexability test she just basically created was more like a dance really. The girl then did a back bend over the last dart and slid in a snake-like way to her stomach. She placed both her legs infront of her and lean over lying ontop of them. She did a side split then a forward 'nutt cracker' split. The girl sprang to her feet and took a light bow. "Thank you...Thank you....I'll be here until I'm kicked out." She said with a humorous tone.

Jarrn grinned, nodding at her, but turned back to the machine. The last test was her sight. She had excelled very well in the last four and hopefully she could pass this test. Then it was on to the real thing, to test her capabilities toward real things. Her pushed a button, the room contorting and shaping into a briefly lit room. In the middle was a machine, clearly used for testing the sight. But this wasn't the only thing that would test her sight. But that would have to wait until after this vision test. He motioned for Ice to sit in the chair and to put her face up to the machine. When she was ready, he pushed a small button, starting the little slide showing letters first small, then growing bigger each time.

F G H B D A A C Y Q L I M W E R Z T K V J Ice read off the list with ease. The girl settled back in the chair and look at Jarrn with a bored expression. "When does the real fun begin.....These tests were too easy....Your keeping things from me." She said in a calm tone, though in her eyes the annoyance glimmered faintly. She wanted to know what was next....If it was tests in her newly discovered form he'd have to help her figure out how to shift into it....The last time was because she almost died....She simply reacted and her body changed.(You better love me for making the chart as small as I did....I was thinking of going to 12 but I was like....Six is larg enough...o.o )

He only looked at her, a faint grin on his face. "Well, the simple tests are done. Now you have to put them into action," he stated, pushing the large red button on the panel. Instantly the room had contorted, grown in size, giving the impression of many walls rising, then the lights dimmed. Though he could see her perfectly well, she was going to see something totally different. In basic, simple terms, Ice was counted on to work her way through the large maze filled with many twists and turns meant to confuse and doubt the mind.

Ice blinked in shock but, shrugged and began to wind her way through the maze. About half way through she got lost and ended up in the hardest part. The part only a Vanner Horse could get through. Ice wailed to herself and went to go back the other way. Much to her surprise she was blocked! Ice let out a scream as when seemed like dire wolves came rushing toward her. One leapt at her but, she transformed, acting purely on instinct.
The massive horse whinnied and kicked out with her hinde legs nailing two of the wolves. The dull thud of her bare hooves echoed as she raced through the maze. This was the endurance part....Because she was being chased she had to continue at a full out gallop. Icewing raced ahead her white stockings flashing in the dim light. Sight test...Dimmly lit area like a cave. She saw the large gap and her eyes widened. Ice sent herself forward with a surge of speed and leapt over the gap. The vanner galloped onward her nostril flared some, she was back out in the main maze and continued at a swift pace.
After a while she finally slowed to a silky trot and moved on at a steady pace. A loud crash behind her sent her running again. This time a chain wrapped around her neck and she reared crying out. She surged forward with a leap and moved ahead. Ice had no idea she was dragging a boulder behind her but, she could feel the weight of the thing. The horse raced ahead and had to leap three gaps with this weight attached to her. Finally she reached the end of the maze and a large bucket of cool water. Icewing drank greedily and once she calmed down she returned to her human form. She stood there tring to catch her breath with a grin. She was tired but, it had been fun!

Jarrn watched with interest, keeping note of how she reacted and how she worked through the problems. It wasn't on pure thought, but just instinct. She wasn't trying, but it was worthy enough. Some circumstances, he knew, didn't give any time to think things through. Some, on the other hand, forced you to. He boldly threw things out at her, putting her in danger, yet not in danger. It was intentional, wanting to see how she dealt with things in her manner. Jarrn had noted that she hadn't thought about shifting, but it occured naturally and instinctively.
When Ice had appeared at the bucket, he made sure the chain and boulder was gone before she had slipped back into human form. Then he pressed a button and the room plunged into darkness for a minute or two, then returned to normal. The room was back to what it had been before they even started and Jarrn was already turned toward the counter, examining the automated machine. He pushed a few buttons, nodded his head a few times, then turned toward Ice. "It looks like you passed with flying colors. Though this wasn't our toughest," he said. Never, in his life, would he flat out give them the toughest test no matter what the circumstances. It would be gradual.

Ice laughed warmly at his words."Great! Does this mean we get the game...?" She asked with a bright smile. The girl really was amusing to listen to sometimes....She sounded so sweet and innocent.
